Spring has (almost!) arrived

This week has seen some signs that Spring is finally on it’s way. We took advantage of this to get out and about in the sunshine, and took some pictures whilst we were at it:

Rickmansworth ‘Tweet up’ – March 27th 2013

Following on from the success of the last Rickmansworth ‘Tweet up’, which took place in Febuary at The Coach and Horses, it has been decided that the next event will be held at Harris & Hoole, Rickmansworth High Street, on March 27th 2013.

What is a ‘Tweet up’?

You’ll be please to know that you probably not the only person wondering what a ‘Tweet up’ actually is. It’s essentially a meet up of people on Twitter, the social media platform. They occur all over the land, with events be attended by anywhere from 2 or 3 people to several hundreds!?!?!

They idea is for like minded people to get together, have a chat and maybe a drink or two. It’s a great way of getting to know others in your local vicinity.

The first Rickmansworth ‘Tweet up’ was attended by 12 or so Twitterers, which given it was the first time such an event has been run in Ricky, is not bad at all. Please spread the word to anyone you know who uses Twitter and if you don’t, please come along and someone will show you the ropes.
