Save a life…give blood in WD3

We all know the importance of giving blood and this time you really have no excuse as on Saturday June 1st between 9.30am and 12.30 pm you can go along to St Mary’s Church and do your good deed for the day.

Giving safe blood saves lives. An example of just a small selection of people you could help are women with pregnancy complications, children with anaemia and those involved in accidents.

To prepare yourself for this selfless deed you are advised to have a good night’s sleep, eat regular meals, drink lots of fluids and wear comfortable clothing.

So what are you waiting for? Grab a bunch of friends and head down to St Mary’s in Rickmansworth on June 1st and do something amazing.

Update from The Little Fox Market

This coming Saturday 13th April we will be in the usual place at the Fox & Hounds off Rickmansworth High street from 10.30am until 3.30pm.

We have decided to set these times so throughout the rest of the year, be it spring summer or winter (or a bit of all three!) our timings are now always 10.30- 3.30pm.

This month we are introducing a few new stall holders, one of which is Smoothieride. Yes.. a smoothie and a ride… what could it mean? I don’t want to ruin the surprise so come along and see what all the fuss is about.

Also joining us again is the lovely Michelle with her ‘Secret’ kitchen and we are looking forward to seeing our friends McGrumy & Snuffles. Their wonderful organic pet treats and toys are really unique and served up with a dose of pure fun. All of our stalls are run by local people with passion so please come and support us!
